Pokemon: Emerald Version is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It is the third generation remakes of the previous games Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, adding new features and gameplay elements.
In the game, the player takes on the role of a Pokémon trainer, traveling around the region of Hoenn and battling other trainers to become the Champion. Along the way, the player must also defeat the criminal organization Team Aqua or Team Magma, who are trying to use the legendary Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre to alter the climate of the world to suit their own goals.
The player can also capture and train various species of Pokémon, and use them to battle other trainers and wild Pokémon. As the player progresses through the game, they will encounter several gym leaders and elite trainers, who must be defeated in order to progress through the story.
The ultimate goal of the game is to become the Pokémon League Champion by defeating the Elite Four and the Champion.
