Super Mario Bros. 3 is a classic video game that was first released in Japan in 1988 and then in North America and Europe in 1990. The game follows the family story of Mario, a plumber, and his brother Luigi as they set out to rescue Princess Toadstool from the evil Bowser and his children, the Koopalings.

The game is set in the Mushroom Kingdom, a fantastic land filled with goombas, piranha plants, and other enemies that Mario must defeat to progress through the levels. Players guide Mario through eight different worlds, each with its own unique theme and obstacles, including deserts, snow-covered landscapes, and even a sky world.

Throughout the game, Mario can collect power-ups like mushrooms and fire flowers to gain new abilities and defeat enemies more easily. He can also collect items like the Super Blade, which gives him a raccoon tail and allows him to fly, and the Hammer Suit, which makes him invulnerable to fire and allows him to throw hammers.

As Mario progresses through the levels, he too must face off against the Koopalings, each of which have their own unique abilities and weaknesses. Once all seven Koopalings are defeated, Mario must face Bowser himself in a final battle to rescue the princess and save the Mushroom Kingdom.
