The Addams Family (1992 – Nintendo)

The Addams Family is a game released in 1992 by Ocean Software, a very famous American studio. The game has a plot based on the 1991 movie of the same name. As Gomez Addams, you will have to rescue other members of the Addams family from the clutches of Abigail Craven, who, along with Judge and family lawyer Tully Alford, are trying to appropriate the Addams family’s assets.

This is a Non-Linear Game (the concept of what is now known as an open world game), with the player moving through many areas inside and outside of the mansion, some of which are hidden. Opponents include bosses, each of which is holding a member of the Addams Family hostage, and you must defeat them using the Power-Up item, extra lives, and collected coins.

Thanks to the success of the movie The Addams Family, this game has attracted a large number of players. This is a side-scrolling action-adventure combining puzzle that makes many players feel excited every time they win.
