Yu-Gi-Oh! – World Championship Tournament 2004 is a collectible card video game for the Game Boy Advance, developed and published by Konami. It is based on the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading card game and anime series.
In the game, the player assumes the role of a duelist, competing in the titular World Championship Tournament. The player begins by creating a deck of cards, and then engages in various duels against computer-controlled opponents, including characters from the anime series.
As the player progresses through the tournament, they will encounter increasingly difficult opponents, each with their own unique decks and strategies. The player must use their own deck and tactics to defeat these opponents and advance to the next round of the tournament.
The game also features a tutorial mode that teaches players how to play Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, as well as a “Reverse Duel” mode that allows players to play as opponents in duels featured in the anime series. Additionally, the game features a variety of real-life cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, including the latest cards in the game from the real world at the time of its release.
The ultimate goal of the game is to win the World Championship Tournament and become the best duelist.
